Review: The story of Machete, Mexico vigilante hard long score to settle. On the set of the movie Desperado, Robert Rodriguez launched his cousin, Danny Trejo, who has a role as an assassin-in movie. The writer / director is inspired by the actor's physical appearance and the character he created of Machete. The idea for the film was a few full-time given. In 2007, Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino creates his Grindhouse, a double feature film is meant to pay homage to and spoof of American films was less than in the 1960s and 1970s. A fake trailer Rodriguez made for Machete, with Trejo in the titular role as an opponent of those who betrayed him, was part of the project. Trailer, however, have a lot of interest from fans, so in 2010, Rodriguez finally make the vision a reality in full movies. Now, Machete cuts way back to the audience ... literally moments after a traumatic experience, Machete (Trejo) recruited by the President of the United States, Rathcock (played by Charlie Sheen, credited by his real name, Carlos Estevez). Mission machete go to Mexico and discovered Mendez The Madman (Damien Bichir), a revolutionary suffering from multiple personality disorder. Madman threatening to launch a missile at Washington. Upon his arrival in the country of his birth, Machete finds that things are much more complicated, he said to do so, only a part of what he wants to do, because it is followed by a hit man, drug cartel, a man-degrading Madame Desdemona (Sofia Vergara) and prostitutes, and many others. It will all eventually leads him, however, to Luther Voz (Mel Gibson), whose actions could have serious consequences, not only for Mexico and the United States, but for the whole world ... Machete Kills is a cliché, action-packed and humor, fun movie - what was supposed to be. This film, like every one Rodriguezs work should not be taken seriously not. This feature makes for Machetes, the largest deficit - (?) Fake trailer for the next installment in the franchise, Machete Kills Again ... In Space. Trailer should feature Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber and a clear spoof of Star Wars. But that's not even two minutes of madness - and it would be much more crazy about that. There is, of course, a lot of pop culture references. Trailer at the beginning and a lot of scenes of the last act throwbacks to Star Wars. Other references may include those for Mad Max, or MoonRaker. There are also tons of references to the previous films Rodriguez, like Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, from dusk till dawn, Planet Terror (Grindhouse segment director) and of course the first Machete. All this is a good time for all those movies that keep referring, of course, and a feast for all lovers of Robert Rodriguez. The Act, when a bad accident, unbelievable. Damien Bichir and Mel Gibson deserves mention as the most prominent film villain. Both actors seem to have a great time on the set and image their characters with a lot of energy and distance. And of course, Danny Trejo as a Mexican will not be confused with the removal of the character perfectly.Although script written by Kyle Ward (based on the story Rodriguezs) than Rodriguez's own, because the tone and humor of that, it was really like working Rodriguezs. Director, as usual, is involved in many other aspects of the film, as production value (which, as usual in his works, fits and easy to remember), editing, etc.Overall, Machete Kills is a fun exploitation film compose. Even more ridiculous accident, funny and more Grindhouse-y than its predecessor. It is certainly not for everyone, but fans of Robert Rodriguezs need a blast. As one of them, I hope that Machete Kills Again ... In Space will be ...
