Review: The Prestige is a masterful exercise in storytelling with Excellent direction and powerful performances from a great ensemble cast. From the sets and production design to cinematography, script reading, Christopher Nolan has proved once again why he is one of the brightest and become director of the film. The Prestige will only help solidify his status as a director in its landmark generation.Told story that jumps between different points along the time line, playing as an act of magic itself, that is the story of two magicians on the rise in their careers. The first - played by Christian Bale - an expert to understand the fundamental trick, but without the showmanship. The second - played by Hugh Jackman - a master showman more entertaining than technical. A series of tragic events that pits two artists against each other in a battle of wits spiral further and further out of control, taking both of them and everyone and everything they care about about.With story that requires Many actors with a range of emotional, Nolan has assembled what could be described as a dream cast. The Bale and Jackman fit their roles perfectly, and pitting the two artists together is strôco genius casting. Michael Caine takes what could be a forgettable role that any actor less, and elevates with his screen presence is difficult.
