Review: I understand why people hate it, it also means that I understand why people love it because I was one of them.This film taken by cinematographer Larry Smith, who worked as eye Kubrick the Wide Shut for her extraordinary work shooting this picture, because it is beautiful and mesmerizing to watch from beginning to end. It is also a wonderful movie experience, this is one movie that gives you just find yourself over. If you are movie fan and a fan of Nicolas winding Refn, then I think if you really love it. I have read many people complain about the film is thin on story and whatnot, well, let me put it like this; Refn wanted the story told the story. He does not have anything to show for that matter, because he shows us that he can do it if he wants, and I think that when you let go of it, then it is much easier to use and enjoy the movie because it is a film that is based on the idea that clear, by calling Nicolas winding Refn attention not to move a piece or environment story.The movie is really something it is almost as if you are part of it, thanks to this film is very slow speeds, and this is why Ive always been a big fan of the slow pace of the film. Chang, who is God, was so coldblooded, even for me as a viewer thought that Julian would be possible to actually trying to kill him - and then the final battle sequence come. All of the participants did very good job and gave a fantastic performance, which means that they do not do more than what it is in the movie. And I love the fact that our hero got beaten down to the point where we could not see his normal face, and I liked the relationship that Julian (Ryan Gosling) and Crystal (Kristen Thomas), the so that I can feel, strange that the mother-to-child type of relationship of love, even though it was very stressful, which is probably due to the good chemistry between the two actors. The movie is also very good for the soundtrack, added another great layer here. I think if David Lynch had to make extremely violent film, I think it would look something like this, there are some really Lynch-moment and there are some shots of Kubrick, which I absolutely love. Like this movie made me cringe, I could not stop enjoying it, it's all in a positive way. I think Refn at a point called the Thai western about a person fighting against God, and I could not stop to realize that while I was watching it, because that's exactly what this film can is.People trash all you want , even though we have two people walking out of the theater. But I must tell you the fact that some critics gave it a 100/100 and gave it to the other under the 50/100 much. But at the end of the day, I think that if you really want to know what you think about the movie, you go and see it yourself.
