Review: Superbad is a teen movie. It will also draw comparisons American Pie, the losers are trying to get added terms, and occasional gross-out comedy. But the comparison is unfair - Superbad is a fun, more subversive and more important than the actual movie American Pie or any of its suites were awful. Three characters Central has a credible, enjoyable relationships, the movie takes time to establish. CERA, Hill (who deserves special praise for turning what could have been a really unlikeable characters in a sweet, if exaggerated and crude, adolescent) and Mintz-Plasse bounce of each other perfectly. The film created some funny situations and, most importantly, funny dialogue throughout. Apart from one comedic missed - an overly long (and ill-judged) Gross gag from eyes with a pair of pants and a dance - Superbad made I laughed the whole. Cute, funny as hell its they are, and have established its a load of new talent.
